Hickory Run Farm is located in the heart of Pennsylvania's Bucks County in Pineville, PA - just 35 minutes Northeast of Philadelphia.
Our 36 acre facility is convenient to major horse shows throughout the East Coast and we offer a full range of services from boarding to
training to lessons and summer camp. HRF welcomes clients annually or monthly and can work out a program to suit almost any needs.
Penny Silcox has been riding, showing and training horses and riders for the past 30 years and
specializes in bringing along young horses or working with horses that have been "spooked."
Competitively, Penny achieved acclaim on the A-Rated Hunter Circuit, competing with Lynda
Kuser's
Premier in the Regular Working Hunter Division. Penny has the knack for finding the right
horse for any rider at the right price. Other HRF students and horses that have achieved
competitive success include HRF's
Katie Loo and Knee High, Stacey Ternowchek's Durben Castle,
Blaine and Stacey Davis'
Leprechaun's Luck, Blackwater Castle and Khyron, Katie Dinneen's
Coilumbo,
and Natalie Levine's Kramer ...just to name a few! Earlier in Penny's career, she also
trained numerous successful show ponies at Walt Flowers'
Equus Stables. Penny's focus is always
on developing a custom program that suits each individual rider's needs - and making sure to
keep everything FUN!
